Stay a little longer.

Give the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix six destination days: arrive Wednesday and recover on Yas Island, use Thursday for Louvre Abu Dhabi and a proper Emirati meal, then keep Friday through Sunday for Yas Marina Circuit's practice, qualifying and the sunset Grand Prix. Sleep nearby after the race and leave Monday. The five-day version trades the city day for a light Thursday arrival, not the three circuit days.

Choose your base

For the cleanest circuit days, stay on Yas Island - it keeps Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Mall and the airport-side arrival close together. A central Abu Dhabi or Saadiyat base gives a stronger city and museum feel, but adds a cross-city journey on each circuit day. For a premium race-adjacent stay, W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island is the circuit's named staycation partner for selected driving experiences, but verify its race-week availability, current terms and whether any hotel booking includes nothing beyond the room.

Move around the city

Use a taxi or pre-arranged car for airport and city transfers, then follow the official circuit's current access information. Yas Marina Circuit says it is on Yas Island near Abu Dhabi International Airport and describes a daily Yas Express island shuttle in ordinary operations; that is not confirmation of a Grand Prix shuttle plan. Reconfirm race-week gates, parking, rideshare points, road closures and any shuttle timetable directly with the promoter.
