Use Ajax's official Ticketshop and check the fixture's eligibility, Club Card or other restrictions. Ajax Resale is the club's official resale route when it opens for a particular match, not a guarantee of stock. Away supporters should seek their own club's current official allocation and directions.
Use the ArenA mobility portal, NS, GVB or 9292 close to travel for the exact route to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA or Strandvliet, then allow for the walk and ticket-specific entrance. Schiphol's rail station is beneath the airport, but that airport journey is a separate leg from stadium travel. Recheck disruptions and do not promise a fixed transfer or a post-match flight connection.
Dec 16 – Dec 18 · 3 days at the destination
Recommended for this trip. International flight days are additional.
The full 2026-12-16 to 2026-12-18 trip gives you an arrival buffer, Ajax vs Getafe CF at Johan Cruijff ArenA and a departure day. A secured Anne Frank House slot can shape Wednesday; without one, let the Jordaan be the low-pressure alternative before dinner. Friday has room for a canal-neighbourhood wander only if it does not compete with the airport journey.
Plan your US flight and onward connection to reach Amsterdam by 2026-12-16. Optional arrival activities depend on the real landing time and dated bookings.

Arrive in Amsterdam the day before the event and leave room for the actual US flight and onward connection. Check in and store luggage before taking on the optional local stops; skip them after a delayed arrival.
Amsterdam city centre
With an official paid online ticket for the specific date and time, visit the Anne Frank House at Westermarkt 20. There are no door sales. Tickets release six weeks ahead on Tuesdays; check exceptional hours and the dated slot. Keep the Jordaan exterior walk as the fallback after a delayed flight or without a ticket.
Anne Frank House, Westermarkt 20
Make Café de Jaren at Nieuwe Doelenstraat an optional central Amsterdam food stop. Its published service differs across the week and the kitchen closes before the café, so check current service and use it as a relaxed meal rather than a timed pre-stadium commitment.

Use Thursday for the Conference League fixture and follow Ajax's official home sales route or the away club's...
Foodhallen in Amsterdam-West offers 19 independent stands; try De BallenBar for bitterballen or The Ramen Shop for ramen, subject to current menus. The hall lists 12:00-23:00 daily service except Christmas Day, with shorter Christmas/New Year Eve hours and possible private-event changes. It is separate from the ArenA journey, so use it after an afternoon match or well before an evening match, according to the dated route.
Foodhallen, Hannie Dankbaarpassage 16
Check the dated route to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA or Strandvliet and then follow stadium signs and the entry on your ticket. Let a city-centre meal remain optional and leave enough time for the walk, checks and the correct entrance.
Amsterdam to Johan Cruijff ArenA
Attend Ajax vs Getafe CF in the Conference League at Johan Cruijff ArenA on 2026-12-17. Use only a valid ticket for your appropriate allocation. The listed kickoff is currently confirmed; recheck for changes.
Johan Cruijff ArenA
Expect exit crowds and take the return route you checked before the match. Keep the night in Amsterdam rather than shaping an airport run around the final whistle. A late meal depends on current kitchen service and your actual return route.
Johan Cruijff ArenA to Amsterdam
Friday has room for a canal-neighbourhood wander only if it does not compete with the airport journey.
Use a low-commitment stroll through the Jordaan's canal streets as an arrival option. The neighbourhood works without a booked attraction, but it is not a promise that markets, shops or particular interiors will be open. Keep an eye out for bikes and shorten it after a delayed flight.
Jordaan and Prinsengracht, Amsterdam
Let the confirmed flight or train determine whether a final Amsterdam stop fits. Schiphol's train station is below the airport and its bus station is outside Schiphol Plaza, but check the dated route, carrier terminal and baggage margin. Skip sightseeing for an early departure; an extra overnight changes the plan.
Amsterdam to your departure connection
Choose a central Amsterdam base or one with a straightforward, dated connection to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA or Strandvliet, then compare the final airport route separately. The Jordaan, Museum Quarter and city-centre food stops are not beside the stadium. Use refundable terms where useful and leave luggage at your lodging before sightseeing.
Follow the entrance printed on your valid ticket, as the ArenA says another entrance cannot be used instead. Leave travel luggage at your lodging, confirm current stadium and organiser rules, and use the allocation-specific instructions supplied by Ajax or the away club.
