Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit

Before you arrive

Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit hosts a Sprint-format weekend: Formula 1 currently lists Friday Practice 1 and Sprint Qualifying, Saturday's Sprint and Grand Prix qualifying, then Sunday's race. Select a Park Pass if exploring public viewing areas matters, or compare the specific grandstand map if a reserved seat matters. The current premium upgrade is The Apex, an official covered alfresco hospitality product near Gate 10 with Turn 12 views; verify 2027 inclusions and access - it does not imply paddock access or transfers.

Getting there

For 2027 the organiser says Park Pass and Grandstand tickets include public transport to and from the event, plus event-specific services. That makes public transport the sensible default for circuit days, but the temporary circuit changes its gate and route detail each year. Match the final map to your ticket and gate, and use a taxi only where its actual pickup rules allow it.
